Uhuru Projects is proud to present Uhuru Design. Our dream is to open up a sewing school where women can learn to sew to provide for their families.
We are raising fonds for this sewing school, buy buying some of the beautiful handcrafts and clothing we see the locals making in Arusha and in the rural areas outside Arusha, and then selling it at markets and events in Copenhagen. Some of the clothes we sell we buy already made, and other things we help the women make according to what we hope to be able to sell in Denmark.

Amongst other things, we had made backpacks for the kids in Uhuru Kindergarten. We sell things for both kids and adults, and we are able to have things made on order, and have it send to Denmark.
